The Champagne Rooms, the New Chapagne Rooms and the new New Champagne Rooms in New Babbage. How confusing!
So I've been doing some thinking about how to cleanly define to folks what my view is on the clubs... and how to advertise them. If you have any thoughts, please do feel free to comment and let's see what we can do to make this easy to understand for all!

The original Champagne Rooms was a classy burlesque club, quite possibly the first vintage burlesque club in Second Life. It was opened by Miss Gemma sometime early 2006 and wound up having to close when she had to leave SL in the summer of 2007.
Miss Gemma's last request was that someone raise the torch and continue to provide fine vintage burlesque in Second Life. Ahnyanka Delphin decided to gather all of the old Champagne Ladies and start up a new club that was a testament to the original club. With the help of some wonderful friends, the New Champagne Rooms opened its doors in Jersey Island on August 25th, 2007.
As of today this 20's to 40's style club is surrounded by boutique shops that cater to a vintage clientele. It specializes in performances that are steeped in traditional burlesque style. With influences that range from Sally Rand to Gypsy Rose Lee to Dita VonTease, the lovely Champagne Ladies do their best to entertain with style, class and just the right amount of sass.
After a year of entertaining our patrons with some of the best burlesque on the grid, it was decided that it would be great fun to explore some other avenues. Land was bought in Babbage Square, New Babbage and they opened an annex that was going to be dedicated to various types of performance art, specializing but not limited to vaudeville. On April 4th, 2009 the New Champagne Rooms in Babbage Square was opened with great fanfare.
As it stands, the New Champagne Rooms in Jersey Island is one of the premier vintage burlesque clubs in Second Life with 4 shows a week. The New Champagne Rooms in Babbage Square hosts some spectacular events once a month with a new theme each month. The themes have ranged from synchronized swimming mermaids to belly dancing with more adventures planned for the future. The Babbage club has also been hosting a Music Appreciation night every other weekend where folks can gather, share music and just relax.
