The New Champagne Rooms Opens a Vaudeville and Burlesque Theater in New Babbage.

Babbage Square, New Babbage, March 2009 – The New Champagne Rooms, a traditional 20’s-40’s vintage burlesque theater, is proud to announce the Grand Opening of their new annex in the Victorian steampunk sim of New Babbage. Specializing in all types of vaudeville entertainment for a more gentile Victorian audience, this new theater will make a slight shift in focus from the original theater.

The original New Champage Rooms is situated in Jersey Island and is surrounded by boutique shops that cater to a vintage clientele. It specializes in performances that are steeped in traditional burlesque style. With influences that range from Sally Rand to Gypsy Rose Lee to Dita VonTease, the lovely Champagne Ladies do their best to entertain with style, class and just the right amount of sass.

The New Babbage theater will continue to tantalize and entertain the audience but will also focus on other aspects of vaudevillian entertainment as well. Magicians, Fire Eaters, Dancers, Comedians and other performers will grace the stage in a grand Victorian fashion.
